Do you feel small yet?

Recently we were witnessing in downtown Gettysburg to two very interesting ladies. I was able to stop them on the sidewalk and start a conversation with Living Waters “Everything Man Has Learned About Women” tract.

They though it was hilarious and of course totally agreed with the punch line that men seem to know absolutely nothing about women (which is probably why God has commanded us husbands to dwell with our wives with understanding 1 Peter 3:7). From there I was able to start a spiritual conversation by asking if they had a Christian background. That initiated what seemed to be like an hour long conversation about the gospel! Unbeknownst to me when I stopped these ladies we were in front of a very crowded outside restaurant. As I was talking, Brian, who was witnessing with me, told me afterwards that he couldn’t help notice that all the people behind me where putting down their food and listening to our conversation. I didn’t plan it that way, but a witnessing encounter with two people turned into almost an open air like preaching of the gospel. Praise God! Be mindful that there are ears everywhere.

Last Sunday we were blessed to have Tony “The Lawman” Miano and his wonderful family come to our area of Gettysburg to preach the gospel at Devil’s Den. Before and after Tony preached we were able to get some tracts out. Also we were also blessed to meet some new Christian friends. Many people heard the gospel that day. Praise God!!!
